About the Photographer
Hi, my name is Gabriel L. Acosta and photography has been my life and
work professionally for 17 years. I was born and raised in Riverside,
California and have a passion for the visual arts.
Because art had always been a part of my life, pursuing a career in the fine arts was an easy decision. However, late in my college career, my creative instincts led me to photography and later to photojournalism. Today, I consider myself to be an artist who makes a living as a photographer.
Since my focus has been in journalism, my visual tools are many. I specialize in event photography, and my talents fully equip me to handle a variety of other subjects including: portraiture, conceptual photography, and editorial assignments. As my latest ventures allow me a considerable amount of magazine work, I have become very comfortable with studio and on-location lighting.
I have a full knowledge of light, shadow, and composition. I am prepared to use all of my skills to suit all of your photographic needs in the Inland Empire and the greater Los Angeles area. Being trained as a newspaper photographer allows me the extra experience in meeting your deadlines with quality and efficiency.
